This famous folk art form is practised by the tribal community named ‘Gond’ only. Gond paintings can be described as 'on line work'.Lines are used in such a way to convey a sense of movement to still images. Dots and dashes are added to impart a greater sense of movement and increase the amount of detail. Another important aspect of this Artform is its vivid contrasting color. It is one of the most celebrated art-forms of the Indian sub-continent. Here the painting is made using Acrylic color on Paper.
